ITSI Implements Advanced Kiosk Information Technologies Kiosks provide a mobile, inexpensive means of effective information dissemination, biometric access control, training, and support for many types of customer activities including ordering, payment, and monitoring. Kiosks provide a means of extending your information system capabilities and support the needs of users who do not have access to a PC but have a need for information. ITSI builds, installs and maintains kiosk information systems that support a variety of applications and information dissemination needs. Our kiosks are inexpensive, effective and easy to maintain. Our kiosk information systems are compliant with the American Disability Act section 508 requirements and provide the latest in rugged keyboards, biometric security applications and touch screen technologies. Our kiosks are developed so they can be remotely monitored and maintained, providing cost effective maintenance. Providing Advanced Security for Kiosk Access and Information Management ITSI engineers are experts in system security and implementing kiosk systems that support web accessibility but block the user from accessing sites outside those designated by the Kiosk provider. We use the latest web technologies to implement kiosk connectivity and provide a security analysis of existing web capabilities prior to implementing our systems. This analysis has benefited our customers by helping them identify and address security issues that were previously unrecognized. Life Cycle Support for Kiosk Systems ITSI provides full life cycle support for kiosk systems including functional definition and concept of operations, system architecture development, requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, training and long term maintenance. Our maintenance department provides long term support for kiosk systems. As part of our system development efforts, we provide the following detailed documentation along with our Kiosk Systems:
Inexpensive Long-term Maintenance ITSI developed a kiosk information system for the Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) kiosk information system. The kiosk information system is distributed throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan Region, providing information to students, staff, and the community. We have been supporting the Kiosk information system for Baltimore City Community College for more than two years with up-time of 99.9%. We provide usage reports, monthly user profile information, and training to BCCC personnel Kiosk Controlled Secure Access ITSI is also implementing advanced biometric security through finger scan and facial recognition for access control through internal research and development funding. These kiosks have applications in border management, airport security, and building access control. Home
