finger scan and facial recognition securities
- Secure Wireless Transmissions through the use of Biometric Encryption
for transmission validation
- Data Security Architectures and Database Security
- Secure Web Infrastructures and Firewalls
- System functional control through Biometric Finger scan validation
- Advanced encryption capabilities
- Monitoring and Surveillance using closed circuit television
and sensors
- Network Intrusion Software Management
ITSI has demonstrated excellence in addressing the security capabilities
and security project needs listed above on contracts with the Maryland
Department of Juvenile Justice, the National Institute of Justice,
the US Census Bureau, Baltimore City Community College, and the
Virginia Beach Smart Traffic Center, and Networks Associates.
ITSI has Knowledgeable Staff Experienced in Implementing
System Security
Building effective system security is a multi-tiered activity that
requires analysis of facility security, system access control for
valid users and intruders, and monitoring and management of information
exchange and update. ITSI brings experience in defining and implementing
all levels of security uses the latest technologies. Our engineers
are highly trained and knowledgeable in security issues and applications.
Eighty percent of ITSIs engineering staff have Masters Degrees
with advanced training in systems security. ITSI Security Engineers
have worked with the currently available encryption algorithms.
We are experts in working with Identix finger scan imaging capabilities
and the related software development kit. We have specialized security
training in database, applications management, web security, and
secure wireless transmissions as well as system login access control
and implementation of biometric access control for facilities. Our
security experience is applied to all projects we address and often
results in our customers identifying and addressing weaknesses that
strengthen other areas of their systems.
ITSI Provides Security Support to State and Federal
Agencies
ITSI has addressed issues of secure information sharing for geographically
distributed agencies for the US Census Bureau and the Maryland Department
of Juvenile Justice. Their need for a cost effective, maintainable
system that could be expanded to meet future, not as yet defined
needs is similar to that of the security needs in many public safety
and transportation agencies. ITSI has supported the Maryland Department
of Juvenile Justice in defining disaster recovery planning, security
analysis and the implementation of information security processes
and procedures. ITSI supported the EZPass Electronic Toll Collection
System and addressed security and audit issues in the EZPass Violations
Processing Center. ITSI has addressed issues of secure information
sharing for the US Census Bureau, addressing the requirements of
maintaining the security of their existing firewall while implementing
system security for information sharing.
ITSI is currently working with the National Institute of Justice,
the Howard County Police, and the Maryland National Capital Park
Police in the development of biometric authentication for wireless
and network transfers of voice, video and text messages. The biometric
is used to encrypt the message so tampering is prevented and the
decryption of the message at receipt is done using the biometric,
establishing conclusively that the message came from the sender.
This technology has a critical place in Transportations support
of Homeland Security, allowing messages to be passed regionally
and into the field with confirmation that the message comes from
a responsible sender
